The Ralph Hardimon Corpsmaster Tenor Swizzle Sticks are a Ralph Hardimon Tenor stick with a hard, spun felt ball attached to the butt end. Ideal for fast changes between wood and felt sounds.
Corpsmaster Tenor Swizzle Sticks
Modeled after Ralph's Signature snare sticks, this concept is a great addition to the Corpsmaster line of marching drumsticks and mallets.
Field tested and field proven, the superior designs of the Corpsmaster line have been developed throughout years of collaboration with the world's finest drum and bugle corps. Each season since these products were introduced, Corpsmaster sticks and mallets have remained the most popular choice among the top high school bands, indoor percussion ensembles and DCI Championship corps.
The Corpsmaster multi-tenor mallets are available with heavy gauge aluminum or Sta-Pac wood shafts. Aluminum offers excellent speed, response and durability, and these models feature "anti-buzz" rubber grips to eliminate vibration. Sta-Pac provides weight and power for a fuller sound with maximum projection. Both options have durable textured handles for enhanced gripping.
DCI Hall of Fame member Ralph Hardimon explains, "Marching percussion arrangers have been exploring the use of sticks on tenors for several years now. The feel of the stick itself is desirable, and the sound tends to be bolder than a mallet. The great thing about this stick is that it has a feel that resembles my snare stick with a shorter length that is more comfortable for a tenor player to use."
