Named the best Up and Coming drummer in the 2006 Modern Drummer Readers Poll, Aaron Spears broke onto the national scene with the D.C. based jazz/R&B/rock group known as the Gideon Band (GB). He has since gone on to work with artists such as James Brown, Alicia Keys, Usher and the American Idol tour.

I have always loved the Vic Firth 3A, explains Aaron. But given the chance to design my own stick, I knew I could come up with something that would be even better! We lengthened the taper and increased the overall length, and I now have a stick that lets leverage do the work for me. These are my new favorite sticks, and I think you will love them too!
