JB Music supported the 2006 Red Horse Beer Muziklaban by being the official band set-up provider for their Semi-Finals competition and at the eventual Grand Finals held at the CCP open grounds last September 9, 2006. Thousands of attendees gathered at the venue despite continuous rain proving that live original rock music is currently much alive anywhere in the archipelago.

Out of the almost 2,000 bands that participated nationwide, 10 bands vied for the championship in the Grand Finals with Hard Boil Eggs emerging as this year’s Muziklaban Champion. JB Music presented them with a Dean Vendetta electric guitar as one of the prizes. Moreover, JB gave away special discount coupons to all participating and guest bands Urbandub, Dicta License, Kamikazee, and Kjwan that they can readily avail of from any JB Music store of their choice. Laney and Carvin amplifiers, Gretsch drumsets, and Zildjian cymbals, all exclusively distributed in the Philippines by JB Music, were used during the grand event.
