Christophe Godin came into prominence in 1995 with the band Temple that started his music recognition in France. After a year, he then took part on the album, Guitare Attitudes, a compilation of French guitarists that landed him television shows in France, most notable of which was the Canal Plus as a regular guest guitarist.
In 1997, Christophe assembled the Morglbl Trio that released 2
albums, giving him the much deserved international recognition in the guitar industry. In 2001, he created the band Gno which toured intensively throughout France until 2003. Very recently, Christophe forms his solo project under the name Christophe Godin’s Metal Kartoon. The band released an album in 2005 with much critical success. All the ingredients that made the career of the guitarist what it is are to be found on this record: humor, virtuosity, and a mix of jazz, funk, and metal.
