Urbandub as new JB Endorsers
Urbandub's Gabby Alipe (vocals and guitars), Lalay Lim (bass), Janjan Mendoza (drums), and John Dinopol (guitars) are now part of the family of JB Music ambassadors. Other prominent ambassadors are Pepe Smith, Rivermaya, The Dawn, among other top musicians. Gabby Alipe is currently playing on a PRS electric and a Dean acoustic guitar. Lalay uses the Zoom B2.iu bass effects. John Dinopol plays on a PRS standard electric; while Janjan Mendoza endorses Zildjian Pitch Black cymbals set. All of these brands are locally distributed by JB Music.Hailing from Cebu City, southern part of the Philippines, Urbandub has released 4 albums and has been the recipient of various awards. At the NU Rock Awards, their song "Soul Searching" was voted as the 2003 Song of the Year while their CD Influence was named Album of the Year in 2004. Gabby was also adjudged Singer of the Year in 2006 and the band as recipient of the Listener's Choice Award in 2008.
